Part of the fun of a racing kart simulation is trying new tracks. There’s nothing wrong with earning money from your game or having a freemium game, but the way Angry Birds Go went around it was poor form and very annoying. This means a lot of waiting at the beginning of the game-unless you pay for more time. Each bird can only run 5 races before needing to recharge, and you only have a bird or two to start with. In Angry Birds Go, it’s a lot more annoying. In the original Angry Birds, this didn’t affect overall gameplay very much. Like all the Angry Birds series, Angry Birds Go relies on a shop to generate income. You start out with the red bird and learn the ropes of the game through a fairly friendly tutorial race. This sleek and fast little game launches you from a slingshot, after which you’ll be doing your best to take advantage of a downhill slope to get ahead.Įach bird has their own unique special ability which can give them an edge during the game. I am especially excited for the upcoming holiday season, as I am sure that we will once again see exciting new apps from Rovio, as well as big name franchises like Zynga and Nintendo.Kart racing is an extremely popular game style, and in Angry Birds Go, you can take your favorite characters on a karting adventure all their own. The news makes me excited for the future of mobile gaming, as many companies have been trying to find innovative ways to bring more monetization into their mobile titles. It was also revealed that the free-to-play feature will continue, with new levels, songs, and power ups becoming available each day. And, the second Angry Birds game, Rovia, got off to a roaring start last summer, bringing back the magic of the classic karting action with cute little cartoon penguins as the playable racers.īut it was not until recently that Rovio finally revealed that there are no further in-app purchases for Angry Birds Go! This means that, in addition to a great deal of content, there will be no more purchases to make while playing Angry Birds. This year saw the release of several brand new games, including the highly-awaited Angry Birds Go! which had everybody itching for the explosive brand new Angry Birds game. The game also supports the Daydream View application that allows the Android and iPhone users to enjoy the game from a virtual environment that closely resembles the environment where Angry Birds is played in real life. The game is compatible only with select Rovio Tiles that will enable the user to summon a particular kart via speech.
The game has been co-designed by Rovio Entertainment and Electronic Arts, and was launched on Novemfor both the iPhone and Android mobile devices.
