Hoping for a better two days till my next dose. Day 4 the hand pain started again and a little short of breath. Joint pains almost subsided a little fuzzy brain but felt fine day one and 2.
So i took 2 days off the Vitamin D3 and took my first vitamin D2 50000 iu pill on Saturday. Not much but was happy the numbers was going up. However she accidentally ordered another Vit D test and the results went up to 15 in 5 days. More blood work to find out which antibodies i was tested positive for. Went in to discuss lab results from other tests ordered, my ANA was positive. I took 5 days of vit d 3 10000 iu (2 pills) a day for 5 days. I came home in a panic and ordered vitamin D3 5000 iu from amazon while the Vitamin D2 from the pharmacy was being ordered. She decided to do a series of test one of which was Vitamin d. I went to the doctor because of joint pains over 3 months in both arms and hip with no relief from nsaids,heat and ice. The anxiety has completely gone away and I feel better than ever! Vitamin D has been a life-saver for me! The social anxiety continued to get worse and worse until I finally went to another doctor who performed a blood test with the same results- except my vitamin D levels were even lower than the first time! She immediately put me on high dose vitamin D (7,000IU per day for several months and then 5,000IU daily long-term). I ended up taking it for a year but saw no difference. The doctor gave me a small dose of 400IU per day and told me to take it for a few months. I went to the doctor and got a blood test and all came back fine except my vitamin D levels were really low.
I had never had any problems with anxiety in the past and had always been a social person, so I found it really weird when I started getting these symptoms. A few years ago, I started experiencing extreme social anxiety with uncontrollable trembling and heart palpitations.
